HomeMy WebLinkAbout659 Rezoning A-1 to C-2~, ~.~`~ ORDINANCE N0. 659 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF UKIAH AMENDING CHAPTER 2, DIVISION 9 OF THE UKIAH CITY CODE BY REZONING PROPERTY FROM EXISTING A-1 (COUNTY CLASSIFICATION) TO C-2 (CITY CLASSI- FICATION (PREZONE CHANGE APPLICATION N0. 74-44 Whereas, this matter of Prezoning was regularly noticed and heard by the City of Ukiah Planning Commission, pursuant to Government Code Section 65854, at its meeting of June 13, 1974, and WHEREAS, said Commission recommends that the property be prezoned C-2, to become effective at such time as the property is annexed to the City of Ukiah, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ukiah regularly noticed and heard this matter at its meeting of August 7, 1974. The City Council of the City of Ukiah does Ordain as follows: Section 1. Chapter 2, of Division 9 of the Ukiah City Code is hereby amended as follows: The Zoning Map adopted by Section 9006, as amended by previous zone changes, is hereby amended by changing from A-1 (County Classification) to C-2 zone (City Classification) property which is being annexed to the City of Ukiah described by beginning at a 4" x 4" concrete monument marked "A-1" which is the northwest corner of "Munson's Second Subdivision" thence southerly a distance of 985 feet, more or less, thence easterly a distance of 195 feet, more or less, thence northerly and parallel to the southerly line a distance of 955 feet, more or less, thence easterly to the point of beginning a distance of 193 feet, more or less; all as more particularly described and shown in Prezone Change Application No. 74-44, on file with the Clerk of the Planning Commission, said file being incorporated herein by reference. Section 2. This ordinance shall be published as required by law in the Ukiah Daily Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Ukiah. Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective upon the annexation of the subject property.
