HomeMy WebLinkAbout618 Rezoning~~ ORDINANCE N0. 618 AMENDING CHAPTER 2, OF DIVISION 9 OF THE UKIAH CITY CODE BY REZONING IN AN AREA BOUNDED BY EAST PERKINS STREET, ORCHARD AVENUE, EAST GOBBI STREET AND THE NORTH- WESTERN PACIFIC RAILROAD EXCEPTING THERE- FROM THE MAJOR PORTION OF ORCHARD VILLAGE SUBDIVISION (ZONE CHANGE APPLICATION FILE N0. 71-24) The City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby ORDAIN as follows: Section 1. Chapter 2 of Division 9 of the Ukiah City Code as amended is hereby further amended as follows: The Zoning Map adopted by Section 9006 as amended is further amended as follows as to the portions of real property situated in the City of Ukiah, County of Mendocino, State of California, described as follows: Parcel No. 1: From Q~I to CN: That real property fronting on East Gobbi Street and bounded on the East and West respectively by Leslie Street and the Northwestern Pacific Railroad, to a depth, from East Gobbi Street, of approximately 185' is to be zoned CN. Parcel No. 2: From CM to C-2: The remainder of the real property, North of the above mentioned real property, bounded on the East and West respectively by Leslie Street and the Northwestern Pacific Railroad is to be zoned C-2. Said parcel is to continue North to within 200 feet of East Perkins Street terminating at an existing C-1 Zone. Parcel No. 3: R-3 to CN: That real property fronting on East Gobbi Street and bounded on the East and West respectively by Orchard Avenue and Leslie Street, to a depth, from East Gobbi Street, of approximately 185 feet is to be zoned CN. Said CN Zone is to continue in a Northerly direction up Orchard Avenue for a distance of approximately 734 feet and at a depth from Orchard Avenue of approximately 190 feet. Parcel No. 4: R-2 to R-3: That real property bounded on the West by Leslie Street and immediately North of the above described zone is to be zoned R-3 and is to run approximately 633 feet up Leslie Street and is bounded on the East by the above described CN Zone. (l.~ Parcel No. 5: R-2 enlarged: That real property presently zoned R-2 and bounded on the West by Leslie Street, excepting therefrom a portion ending approximately 134 feet South of East Perkins Street, is to be enlarged beginning at a point approximately 320 feet South of the South edge of Peach Street. The additional R-2 will then run in an easterly direction to Orchard Avenue and be bounded on the South by the previously described R-3 and CN Zones and on the North by an existing R-1 Zone. Parcel No. 6: R-1 to CN: CN enlarged: Existing CN Zoning of the real property on the Southeast and Southwest corners of Warren Drive at the intersection with East Perkins Street is ex- tended to cover those parcels of real property, presently zoned R-l, which are bounded on the North by East Perkins Street between Leslie Street and Orchard Avenue; all as more particularly shown on the maps contained in the above mentioned zone change application file, on file with the Planning Commission Secretary which is herein incorporated by reference. Section 2. This ordinance shall be published as required by law. Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective 30 days after its adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of November, 1971 by the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmen Scotto, Buxton, Simpson and Mayor Norgard.
