HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-05 1 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 95-5 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH ABANDONING CERTAIN PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN THE REDWOOD BUSINESS PARK OF UKIAH SUBDIVISION UNIT I WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ukiah approved the Final Map of the Redwood Business Park of Ukiah, Unit 1, on the 20th day of April, 1988 and accepted, on behalf of the public, public utility easements as shown on said Map; and WHEREAS, on January 12, 1994, after conducting a public hearing, the City Engineer approved the proposed lot line adjustment Application No. 93-39 for the adjustment of lot lines of nine (9) existing parcels located within and south of the Redwood Business Park of Ukiah, Unit 1; and WHEREAS, said lot line adjustment reconfigured former lots B3, B4, B5 and B6 of said Business Park; and WHEREAS, certain public utility easements along the interior and exterior lot lines of said lots are no longer needed for public utility purposes; and WHEREAS, said City Council took public testimony at a noticed Public Hearing on July 20, 1994 and no objections to the abandonment of the public utility easements as shown and described in Exhibit A were made. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Ukiah City Council that the public utility easements as shown and described in Exhibit A are hereby abandoned, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to submit this resolution and Exhibit A to the County Recorder of Mendocino County for recordation. Public utility easements over Lots B3, B4, B5, and B6 as shown on the map of Redwood Business Park of Ukiah, Unit I, filed in Case 2, Drawer 47, Page 24, Records of the County Recorder of Mendocino County, State of California, more particularly described as follows: EASEMENT "A" A 25 foot wide easement over the south 25 feet of Lot B6 of said Business Park, excepting therefrom, the west 25 feet of said Lot B6. EASEMENT "B" A 10 foot wide easement having a centerline described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot B6 of said Business Park; thence S 84° 40' 22" W, 343 feet, more or less, along the north line of said Lot B6 to the east line of a 25 foot wide public utility easement and building setback which lies over the west 25 feet of Lots B6 and B5 of said Business Park. EASEMENT "C" A 5 foot wide easement over the north 5 feet of Lot B5 of said Business Park, excepting therefrom, the west 25 feet of said Lot B5. Page 1 of 3 EASEMENT "D" A 25 foot wide easement over the south 25 feet of Lots B4 and B3 of said Business Park, excepting therefrom, the west 25 feet of said Lot B3. EASEMENT "E" A 5 foot wide easement over the east 5 feet of Lots B6, B5 and B4 of said Business Park, excepting therefrom, the north 25 feet of said Lot B4. EASEMENT "F" A 10 foot wide easement having a centerline described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot B4 of said Business Park, thence N 5° 19' 38" W, 283 feet, more or less, to the south line of a 25 foot wide public utility easement and building setback over the north 25 feet of Lots B3 and B4 of said Business Park.
