RESOLUTION NO. 95-3
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH
ESTABLISHING A PRIMA FACIA SPEED LIMIT OF 15 M.PH.
ON SOUTH BARNES STREET BETWEEN CLAY AND BETFY STREETS
WHEREAS, the Ukiah City Council, has received a recommendation from the
Traffic Engineering Committee that the reasonable and safe vehicular speed on South Barnes
Street between Clay and Betty Streets, based on the existing roadway geometrics, is 15 M.P.H.;
and
WHEREAS, the recommendation and findings are consistent with the California
Vehicle Code Section 22358.3.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ukiah City Council that the
prima facia speed limit on South Barnes Street between Clay and Betty Streets is hereby declared
to be 15 M.PH.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July ,
1994, by the tbllowing roll call vote.
