HomeMy WebLinkAbout93-451 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 I4 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 93-45 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH MAKING APPOINTMENT TO FILL THE UNEXPIRED COUNCIL TERM OF FRANK MCMICHAEL WHEREAS, Councilmember Frank McMichael, was elected to a four year term as Mendocino County Second District Supervisor on November 3, 1992, and; WHEREAS, Frank McMichael submitted his resignation from the City of Ukiah City Council effective January 4, 1993, which created a Council vacancy whose term expires June 1994, and; WHEREAS, it was the decision of this Council advertise the Council vacancy, require new applicants to complete an application and essay, requested previous applicants to provide notification to the City Clerk for reconsideration, and to conduct interviews of applicants in public session on January 12 and 13, 1993, and in doing so; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby appoint Jim Mastin to the fill the unexpired term of Councimember Frank McMichael, which expires June 1994. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of January 1993, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmembers Malone, Wattenburger, Shoemaker and Mayor Schneiter NOES: None ABSENT: None
