I. CALL TO ORDER: Kageyama, Harris, Looney, Lohse, Steele, Walker, Pilant, and

III. AUDIENCE COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS
The Traffic Engineering Committee welcomes input from the audience. In order for
everyone to be heard, please limit your comments to three (3) minutes per person
and not more than 10 minutes per subject. The Brown Act regulations do not allow
action to be taken on non-agenda items.
ANNOUNCEMENT -Introduction of Kevin T. Cotroneo, Community Member, to the
Traffic Engineering Committee
IV. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS:
OLD BUSINESS
a. Discussion and possible action regarding on-street parking on West Church and
West Stephenson Streets near Trinity School -Jim Looney, Public Works Department.
b. Discussion and possible action regarding request to change loading zone
adjacent to Sports Attic, between North School and North State Streets, to parking
spaces, and a loading zone established at the end of the block in front of the former
Wildberger's Market -Richard Cleland, owner of Sports Attic.
c. Update of action taken at intersection of Smith Street and Oak Street.
d. Update on request to City Council to shorten red zone along Leslie Street near
Perkins Street.

V. NEW BUSINESS
a. Discussion regarding hatch marks painted within crosswalks for high visibility. Set
standards and policy.
b. Discussion and possible action regarding School zone signing in the vicinity of Trinity
School.
c. Discussion and possible action regarding removal of curbside handicapped parking
space on Washington Avenue near Nokomis School.
d. Discussion and possible action regarding removal of "No Parking" zone for one
vehicle parking space at 493 Highland Avenue.
e. Discussion and possible action regarding semi-truck trailers and other large trucks
parking in the vicinity of Miller's Donuts - 260 South State Street. (Large trucks may
partially obstruct sight distance of vehicles exiting adjacent driveways).
