REDWOOD VALLEY COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
REGULAR BOARD MEETING
THURSDAY,APRIL 18, 2024
1. Call to Order: 5:02 P.M.
2. Directors Present:
Director, Ken Todd Director,Adam Gaska
Director,Tom Schoeneman Director, Cass Taaning
Absent: Director Klotter.
Others Present: General Manager-Jared Walker, Office Manager-Liz Patton, Board Secretary-Kim
Saylor, Public-Monica Huettl.
3. Public Forum
None.
4. Consider hearing of urgent items received since the Agenda was posted:
None.
5. Agenda
Director Klotter made a motion, seconded by Director Todd,to approve the agenda as amended.This
motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote.
6. Minutes
Director Taaning made a motion, seconded by Director Schoeneman,to approve the minutes of the March
21, 2024 Regular Board Meeting, as amended.This motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote.
7. Financial Statements
Director Taaning made a motion, seconded by Director Schoeneman to approve the financials for March
2024.This motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote.
8. Staff Reports
a. General Manager
i. GM,Walker reported that the Water Treatment Plant(WTP) is running about one day a
week, chemicals are being ordered for tNTP.
ii. Lake Mendocino is expected to reach last year's high-level mark by the end of the week.
b. Office Manager
i. None.
9. Old Business
a. Water Supply Updates
i. GM,Walker reported that Lake Mendocino is near 1oo,000 acre-foot and should allow
more water to Redwood Valley over the summer.
b. Updates on Eel-Russian Project Authority(ERPA)
i. GM,Walker reported that there were no new updates since the last meeting where
the Board voted for the Pumping Station over the Roughened Channel for
continued diversions. No recent updates from PG&E, and no new meeting date has
been set.
C. Updates on Small Community Drought Relief Grant Project
i. GM,Walker reported that ongoing correspondence with Larry Walker Associates
(LWA) and North Coast regarding Bio Survey.
d. Report on Ukiah Valley Water Authority(UVWA)
i. GM, Walker reported that the JPA meetings are held on the is'Tuesday of the
month at 5:oopm at the Ukiah Valley Conference Center. Ongoing discussion with
the new JPA members,budget review and anticipation for the application to be
sent to SAFER are ongoing topics of discussion. No May meeting was held for
UVWA, and the June meeting will most likely be cancelled unless more
information comes forward.

a. Consideration of Resolution 24-01, Mendocino County Russian River Flood
Control&Water Conservation Improvement— Commitment to Collaborate
with Redwood Valley County Water District in Developing a Local
Formation Commission Annexation Application
i. Director Klotter made a motion,seconded by Director Todd,to approve Resolution
24-01, Mendocino County Russian River Flood Control&Water Conservation
Improvement.This motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote.

Director Klotter made a motion,seconded by Director Taaning,to adjourn the meeting.This motion was
passed with a unanimous aye vote. The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
