HomeMy WebLinkAbout06.18.24 Millview MinutesMINUTES MILLVIEW COUNTY WATER DISTRICT REGULAR BOARD MEETING TUESDAY, JUNE 18, 2024 Call to Order: 5:08 p.m. President, Tim Prince Director, Jerry Cardoza Director, Bryan Ross Absent: Michael DeM:artini Others Present: General Manager - Jared Walker, Office Manager - Liz Patton, - Board Secretary - Kim Saylor Public Expression - Non -Agenda Items: • None Approval of Agenda Director Cardoza made a motion, seconded by Director Ross, to approve the agenda as amended. This motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote. Approval of Minutes Director Cardoza made a motion, seconded by Director Ross, to approve the May 21, 2024, Regular Board Meeting Minutes as Amended. This motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote. Approval of Financials Director Ross made a motion, seconded by Director Cardoza, to approve the Financials for April & May 2024. The motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote. Staff Reports a. General Managers Report i. GM Walker reported that Al White resigned from his position on the Board of Directors of the Russian River Flood Control District. ii. Meter change outs will continue through the summer. iii. Election packet information will be sent out via email to water board candidates who will be up for Election in November. b. Office Managers Report i. None. Old Business a. Report on Local Water District Projects ii. GM Walker reported that RV treatment plant is running 4-5 days now. iii. Millview - Deerwood Bunker Pump Station, Performance Pump has Parts in. iv. Hopland Cal -Fire assisted with weed and grass burring at the waste Treatment plant. b. Report on Ukiah Valley Water District Projects (UVWA): i. GM, Walker reported that the next JPA meeting will be held on July 9, 2024, at 5:oopm at the Ukiah Valley Conference Center. Ongoing discussions regarding application to the state and SAFER. C. Report on Eel -Russian Project Authority (ERPA): i. GM, Walker reported that there were no new updates since the last meeting where the Board voted for the Pumping Station over the Roughened Channel for continued diversions. No recent updates from PG&E, and no new meeting date has been set. New Business a. Consideration of Bid Additives for Akerman Bridge Project: i. Information received and direction given to staff. Staff to return with more information and bring back for further consideration or action. Legal Counsel Report None. Director's Report i. None. Adiourn Meeting Director Cardoza made a motion, seconded by Director Ross, to adjourn the meeting. This motion passed with a unanimous aye vote.
