Others Present: General Manager - Jared Walker, Office Manager - Liz Patton, - Chris Neary, Legal Counsel - Board Secretary - Kim Saylor - Public - Alfred White Public Expression - Non -Agenda Items: • None Consider hearing of urf4ent items received since the Agenda was posted: i None Approval of Agenda Director Cardoza made a motion, seconded by Director DeMartini, to approve the agenda. This motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote. Approval of Minutes Director DeMartini made a motion, seconded by Director Prince, to approve the February 20, 2024, Regular Board Meeting minutes. This motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote. Approval of Financials Director Cardoza made a motion, seconded by Director DeMartini, to approve the Financials for January 2024. The motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote. Director Cardoza made a motion, seconded by Director DeMartini, to approve the Financials for February 2024. The motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote. Director Cardoza made a motion, seconded by Director Prince to approve the Financials for March 2024. The motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote. Staff Reports a. General Managers Report i. GM Walker reported an update for Vineyard Crossing Subdivision in coordination with Guillon will still be several years before breaking ground. Technical memo regarding water was initially done for 123 homes. City of Ukiah will be willing to supply any water that Millview may be short. GM Walker stated his prior concerns with this are not alleviated with the formation of the Ukiah Valley Water Authority and all present Directors agreed. ii. Prepatation for the River intakes to be installed is under way, a new motor for one of the pumps was purchased, the old motor is being repaired as a replacement. ill. Bricarelli/Lovers Lane, Tank recoating is still in progress, minor changes with some welding needing to be done. iv. Meter change outs through EOY. b. Office Managers Report i. None. Old Business a. Report on Local Water District Projects i. GM, Walker reported that the Redwood Valley CWD treatment plant is being prepared for the upcoming season. Equipment is running well; a few Ag meters are being changed out. The crew has been busy with multiple leaks, (8 in 5 days). b. Report on Ukiah Valley Water District Projects (UVWA): i. GM, Walker reported that the JPA meetings are held on the ill Tuesday of the month at 5:oopm at the Ukiah Valley Conference Center. Ongoing discussion with the new JPA members, budget review and anticipation for the application to be sent to SAFER are ongoing topics of discussion. c. Report on Eel -Russian Project Authority (ERPA): i. GM, Walker reported that there were no new updates since the last meeting where the Board voted for the Pumping Station over the Roughened Channel for continued diversions. New Business A. Consideration of Deerwood Bunker Booster Pump Station Quote: i. Director Cardoza made a motion, seconded by Director Ross, to approve the Quote for Performance Pump Service LLC. This motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote. Legal Counsel Report None. Director's Report i. None. Adiourn Meeting Director Cardoza made a motion, seconded by Director Prince, to adjourn the meeting. This motion passed with unanimous aye vote.
