MILLVIEW COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
REGULAR BOARD MEETING
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2024
Call to Order: 5:03 p.m.
President, Tim Prince Director, Michael DeMartini

Consider hearing of urgent items received since the Agenda was posted:
• None
Approval of Agenda
Director Cardoza made a motion, seconded by Director Ross, to approve the agenda. This motion
was passed with a unanimous aye vote.
Approval of Minutes
Director Cardoza made a motion, seconded by Director Ross, to approve the January 16, 2024,
Regular Board Meeting minutes. This motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote.
Approval of Financials
None.
Staff Reports
a. General Managers Report
i. None.
b. Office Managers Report
i. Office Manager Patton gave a reminder that the form 700 is due to the
County Offices by April 1, 2024.
Old Business
a. Report on Local Water District Projects
i. GM, Walker reported that Meter change-out projects are still
ongoing for Millview.
ii. Millview, City of Ukiah, and Redwood Valley (meeting
2/22/24) are moving forward with the
iii. Joint Powers Agreement with Willow and Calpella still having the
opportunity to opt - in.
New Business
a. Consideration and Possible Approval of Execution of Joint Powers Agreement with
Redwood Valley County Water District and the City of Ukiah for the Ukiah Valley
Water Authority
i. Director Cardoza made a motion, seconded by Director Ross, to approve the
Execution of Joint Powers Agreement with Redwood Valley County Water
District and the City of Ukiah for the Ukiah Valley Water Authority. This
motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote.
b. Appointment of two Representatives to Represent Millview CWD on the Water
Executive Committee pursuant to the Ukiah Valley Water Authority JPA
i. Director DeMartini made a motion, seconded by Director Ross, to appoint
Directors Prince and Cardoza to represent Millview CWD on the Water
Executive Committee pursuant to the Ukiah Valley Water Authority JPA. This
motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote.
Legal Counsel Report
i. None.
Director’s Report
i. None.
Adjourn Meeting
Director Cardoza made a motion, seconded by Director DeMartini, to adjourn the meeting. This
motion passed with a unanimous aye vote. The meeting adjourned at 5:47 p.m.
