SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
June 23, 2025 MINUTES

1. CALL T ORDER AND ROLL CALL
The Calpella & Millview County Water Districts held a Special Meeting on June 23, 2025, the
meeting was legally noticed on June 18, 2025. The meeting was held in person and at the following
virtual link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85811272249. Chair Tim Prince called the meeting to order at
5:04 p.m. CHAIR TIM PRINCE PRESIDING.
Roll was taken with the following Directors Present: T. Baarsch - Bogart, B. Mahaffey, and Chair S.
Bogart (Calpella Board) M. DeMartini, J. Cardoza, B. Ross, and Chair T. Prince (Millview Board).
Directors Absent: None. Staff Present: Phil Williams – City of Ukiah Counsel, Chris Neary – Outside
Counsel. Sean White, City of Ukiah – Water Resources? Jared Walker, Deputy Director of Water
Resources, and Kim Saylor, Deputy Clerk.
2. AUDIENCE COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS:
No public comments were received.
Motion/Second: Cardoza/Prince to adjourn to closed session at 5:04. Motion carried by the
following Roll Call votes: AYES T. Baarsch - Bogart, B. Mahaffey, and Chair S. Bogart
(Calpella Board) M. DeMartini, J. Cardoza, B. Ross, and Chair T. Prince (Millview Board).
NOES: None. ABSENT: None. ABSTAIN: None.
3. CLOSED SESSION - CLOSED SESSION MAY BE HELD AT ANY TIME DURING THE
MEETING

1. Conference with Legal Counsel - Potential Litigation 1. Government Code

Motion/Second: Cardoza/Prince to adjourn to closed session at 5:04. Motion carried by the
following Roll Call votes: AYES T. Baarsch - Bogart, B. Mahaffey, and Chair S. Bogart
(Calpella Board) M. DeMartini, J. Cardoza, B. Ross, and Chair T. Prince (Millview Board).
NOES: None. ABSENT: None. ABSTAIN: None.
4. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:32 p.m.
