(UVGB) includes the city of Ukiah and
the towns of Redwood Valley, Talmage,
Calpella, Laughlin, and El Roble.
According to the Department of Water
Resources (DWR) Bulletin 118, the
UVGB has an area of approximately
6060 square miles. The UVGB boundary
illustrated in Figures 1 and 2 has been
modified from the DWR boundary map
based on the presented Larsen and
Kelsey geologic map. The boundary
defines the interface between the
alluvial water-bearing geologic
depositsdeposits and the surrounding bedrock
formations.
