Stephens & Associates, Inc. (DBS&A) are prepared to enter into negotiations with Weeks Drilling & Pump Company (Weeks) to construct a new water supply well. To facilitate the negotiations, DBS&A has prepared a Revised Bid Sheet (attached) for your completion. It is our understanding that there are several minor accommodations and scope adjustments that can be made to reduce drilling costs. The following clarifications were discussed in phone conversations on February 24th and 28th, 2025: • Bid Item 1 shall not exceed 10% of the bid total. • Site grading and well drilling pad construction needed to install the new well does not need to be removed at the end of the project. RVCWD will work with Weeks Drilling & Pump Company (Weeks) to limit the amount of solid removal and finished grading to the site. ® In Bid Item 4, during aquifer isolation zone tests the use of a minimum 6" zone sampling tool pipe may be used only if the airlifting and pumping procedures as written in the technical specifications can still be completed successfully. • In Bid Item 9, it is understood that Roscoe Moss Ful Flo Louvers shall be used as written in the technical specifications.
