RESOLUTION NO. 93-25
RESOLUTION OF Tg~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF UKIAHAUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
UMBRELLA AGREEMENT BETWEEN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
POWER AGENCY AND THE BONNEVIL?.~ POWERADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, the Northern California Power Agency and the
Bonneville Power Administration have entered into the Washington
Water and Power Purchase Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Washington Water and Power Purchase
Agreement does not cover other discretionary transactions; and
WHEREAS, the Northern California Power Agency and the
Bonneville Power Administration have conducted discretionary
transactions without an agreement since January 1, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the Northern California Power Agency and the
Bonneville Power Administration are desirous of establishing an
agreement to cover future discretionary transactions; and
WHEREAS, these discretionary transactions would be of
economical benefit to the City of Ukiah.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City
of Ukiah Fred Schneiter, is hereby authorized to execute the
Umbrella Agreement between the members of the Northern California
Power Agency and the Bonneville Power Administration on behalf of
the City of Ukiah.
