Board will discuss and consider approval of the grant application for submission and direct GSA staff to submit the grant application upon final approval from GSA Grant Ad-Hoc Committee. Background On September 8th, 2022, the UVBGSA Board directed GSA Staff to prepare a letter proposal for West Yost, in cooperation with Larry Walker Associates (LWA) through their existing on-call contract with the GSA to provide technical support, to prepare and submit a GSA grant application for the DWR Round 2 SGM Implementation Grant, and for the Board Chair to appoint an Ad-Hoc to guide the proposal and application process. The grant application was originally due on November 30, 2022, but the grant deadline was moved to December 16th. The Board Chair has since formed a Grant Ad-Hoc Committee (Committee) consisting of two Board members, two TAC members, GSA Staff, and LWA staff. The Committee approved West Yost’s proposal in October 2022 and since then, West Yost and LWA have worked with the Committee to develop the grant application. The Committee is currently reviewing the draft grant project workplans and will be submitting comments by the end of day on December 8th, 2022 to West Yost. West Yost is currently finishing up the remaining grant required attachments and documentation for submission. West Yost will address comments and finalize draft grant project work plans (Attachment 3) and figures (Attachment 4) by December 13. GSA Staff and the Committee will meet on December 13 to finalize approval of the grant application for submission. GSA Staff will then submit the final grant application by the due date on December 16.
