1. ROLL CALL
Ukiah City Council met at a Regular Meeting on November 20, 2024, having been legally noticed on
November 15, 2024. The meeting was held in person and virtually at the following link:
https�l/us06web_zoom-us/j/86736894549. Mayor Duenas called the meeting to order at 5:18 p.m.
Roll was taken with the following Councilmembers Present: Mari Rodin, Juan V. Orozco, Susan
Sher, Douglas, F. Crane, and Josefina Duenas. Staff Present: Sage Sangiacomo, City Manager;
David Rapport, City Attorney; and Araceli Sandoval, Acting Clerk.
MAYOR DUE&AS PRESIDING.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilmember Crane.

Motion/Second: Crane/Sher to approve Minutes of the Special and Regular Meetings of November
6, 2024 as submitted. Motion carried by the following roll call votes: AYES: Rodin, Orozco, Sher,
Crane, and Duenas. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. ABSTAIN: None.

a. Authorize a Budget Amendment in the Amount of$60,000 for the Downtown Trash Enclosure

Additional Construction Services from Gregg Simpson Constructed Related to the Orr Street
Bridge Replacement Project—Public Works.

a. Authorization for the City Manager to Negotiate and Execute a Contract with GHD
Engineers Inc. In the amount of$85,607.00 for Hydraulic Modeling Support Services for
the Development of a 100-Year Floodplain Model for the City of Ukiah.
Presenters: Tim Eriksen, Director of Public Works/City Engineer and Craig Schlatter, Director of
Community Development.
Motion/Second: Crane/Rodin to authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute a contract
(2425-149) with GHD Engineers Inc. in the amount of $85,507 for services related to FEMA
Floodplain Mapping. Motion carried by the following roll call votes: AYES: Rodin, Orozco, Sher,
Crane, and Duenas. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. ABSTAIN: None.
14. NEW BUSINESS
a. Discussion and Direction Regarding Mendocino County Tourism Commission's Proposal
to Modify and Increase the Countywide Tourism Business Improvement District Fees.
Presenter: Shannon Riley, Deputy City Manager.

Motion/Second: Rodin/Crane to direct Staff to engage conversation with Mendocino County
Tourism Commission regarding their proposal to modify and increase the countywide tourism
business improvement district fees. Motion carried by the following roll call votes: AYES: Rodin,
Orozco, Sher, Crane, and Duenas. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. ABSTAIN: None.
