ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
UKIAH AMENDING SECTION 3236 OF THE UKIAH CITY
CODE, PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF
THE CITY'S SIGN ORDINANCE
The City Council of the City of Ukiah hereby ordains as follows.
1. Ukiah City Code Section 3236 is amended to read as follows:
ยง3236: PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION: Any person, firm or corporation violating
any of the provisions of this Chapter shall be guilty of an infraction. Every such
violation is punishable by (1) a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100) for a first
violation; (2) a fine not exceeding two hundred dollars ($200) for a second violation
within one year; (3) a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500) for each additional
violation within one year.
2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall be published as required by law in
a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Ukiah, and shall become effective thirty
(30) days after its adoption.
