The granting of the waiver will enable the Veteran's Services Office to lease and occupy the office suites by August 1,2006, thereby avoiding loss of the property to another prospective tenant. The use of the office suites by the Veteran's Services Office would not be inconsistent with any City code, or the goals and policies of the Ukiah General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Ukiah grants the County of Mendocino Department of General Social Services a waiver of the 60-day notification requirement to lease and use office suites I, J, K, and located at 419 Talmage Road for use as the Veteran's Services Office.
