RESOLUTION NO. 97-27
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH
MAKING PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE
APPOINTMENT TO THE GOLF COURSE COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the annual expiration of terms for the Parks and
Recreation Commission occurred on June 30, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the Commission's representative to the Golf Committee
was one of the terms which expired; and
WHEREAS, the vacancies were duly advertised until the close of
applications on June 27, 1996 with applications received and
submitted to Council for consideration; and
WHEREA~, the City Council has appointed Donald Rones to the
Parks and Recreation Commission and the Commission has nominated
Mr. Rones as its representative to the Golf Course Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Ukiah City Council
approved the nominations submitted as per procedures outlined in
Resolution No. 95-48, and do hereby appoint Don Rones to a
two-year term on the Golf Course Committee to expire June 30, 1998.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of October, 1996, by the
following roll call vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Mastin, Malone, Wattenburger, Shoemaker,
and Mayor Schneiter.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTAIN: None.
