Re: Environmental Service Contract and Environmental Service Agreement for Biological Assessment for
the proposed Upper City View Trail at APN# 001-030-01
Dear Michelle:
As per your request, a proposal has been prepared by Jacobszoon & Associates for the above referenced
project. The project area and the surrounding area has already been evaluated and surveys for special
status plants but must also be evaluated for animal species that are listed as rare, threatened,
endangered, and species of special concern. Research is conducted regarding specific species that have
been identified in the area and require the habitat found within and adjacent to the project area.
Mitigations for animal species will be developed if necessary. During site visits, any potentially
Environmentally Sensitive Habitat Areas will be searched for and mapped if present as per California
Department of Fish and Wildlife and County of Mendocino and mitigations developed if necessary.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Alicia Ives Ringstad
Senior Wildlife Biologist
