COMMERCIAL SERVICE
Resolved: That for current furnlshed after the next
reading of Electric meters the rate to be charged for General
Domestic and Commercial lighting service be:
Service charge per meter per month ..... 50¢
Energy charge, (to be added to service ~h~r~ei
First 500 K~/H per meter per month .......... 3.5¢ per KWH
Next 500 KWH per meter per month .......... 2.5¢ " "
All in excess to 1000 KWH per meter per month .... 2.0¢ " "
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Single phase motors of an aggregate capacity of 5 H.P.
or less may receive service under this schedule, Jf in the
opinion of the Engineer in charge or the Department of Elect-
ricity, the nature of the load does not interfere wi th, or impair
the general lighting service·
No elevator motors, arcowelders or other apparatus requir-
ing an excessive amount of electricity momentarily may receive
service under this schedule.
In case of luminous tube transformers, fluorescent lighting
or other types of lighting having a Power Factor of less than
90 per cent, 1.O¢ per KWH will be added to the first 200 KWH
or fraction thereof per meter per month.

This rate shall be available for domestic lighting in combination
with heating, cooking and domestic power service and shall apply
only to slngly occupied dwellings and to separately metered flats
and apartments, (metered by the City) wi thin the City limits of the
City of Uklah.

In case of Luminous Tube Lighting or other types of 'ii{~ht;ng

meter per month.
I, Paloma R. Williams, City Clerk of the City of Uklah
and ex officio clerk of the City Council, do hereby certify the
foregoing to be a true copy of a resolution adopted by the said
City Council at a regular meeting thereof on the 9th day of
April, 1941, the same as appears of record in my office.
