This Side Letter of Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between the City of Ukiah
("City") and the Management Unit ("Unit") (collectively referred to as "Parties").
At its regular meeting on June 16`", 2021, with the adoption of the FY 2021/2022 budget, City
Council expressed its desire to institute the maximum 3% cost of living adjustment for Year 4 of
the Parties Memorandum of Understanding("MOU"), effective the first full pay period following
July 2021.
Having met and conferred in accordance with Government Code section 3500, et. seq., the City
and the Unit agree to amend, add to and clarify the Parties' current MOU as follows:
1. Sa a - The "Year 4" salary increase provisions in the June 2020 Amendment to and
Extension of the 2018-2022 MOU between the City and the Unit is hereby stricken and
replaced with the following:
Year 4: Effective the first full pay period in July 2021, all unit members shall receive a 3%
increase to base salary.
2. This Agreement supersedes any provisions or language in previous policies, the Parties'
current MOU and/or other documents that may conflict with the terms of this Agreement.
The term of this Agreement shall be as specified in the MOU.
