NUMBERS 003-050-29, 85 AND 86 FROM THE R-2 (MEDTUM DENSTTY RESZDENTTAL)
ZONTNG DZSTRZCT TO THE R-3 (HTGH DENSTTY RESTDENTI'AL) ZONTNG DTSTI~CT.
The City Council of City of Ukiah does hereby ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE
Pursuant to the procedures set forth in Section 9009 of the Ukiah Municipal Code, the Official
Zoning Map for the City of Ukiah is amended to change the zoning on Assessor Parcel Number 003-050-
66 from the C-l(Community Commercial) Zoning District to the R-3 (High Density Residential) Zoning
District and to change the zoning for Assessor Parcel Numbers 003-050-29, 85 and 86 from the R-2
(Medium Density Residential) Zoning District to the R-3 (High Density Residential) Zoning District.
SECTION TWO
This rezoning action and amendment to the official Zoning Map of the City of Ukiah is necessary
to establish a consistent zoning classification of R-3 over the four contiguous parcels, which will allow the
owners of the four contiguous parcels to develop multiple-family residential housing.
SECTZON THREE
The City of Ukiah, in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, has conducted an
appraisal of the possible impacts of this project on the environment and determined that the potentially
significant adverse effects the project will cause will be reduced to levels that are not significant by the
adoption of the mitigation measures and mitigation monitoring program included in the study, and that a
Mitigated Negative Declaration for the project is appropriate.
SECTZON FOUR
This ordinance shall be published as required by law in a newspaper of general circulation
published in the City of Ukiah.
SECTZON FZVE
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after adoption.
