RESOLUTION NO. 97-4
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF UKIAH AUTHORIZING SIGNATORIES ON CITY
OF UKIAH ACCOUNTS WITH CHARLES SCHWAB & CO., INC.
WHEREAS, the previous City Treasurer established an account with Charles Schwab
& Co., Inc; and
WHEREAS, the persons responsible for effecting investment decisions have
changed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires that only designated officials have authority to
implement investment actions,
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that City Manager Candace Horsley, Finance
Directar Gordon Elton, and Assistant City Manager Michael Harris are hereby authorized
to sell, assign, and endorse for transfer, certificates representing stocks, bonds, or other
securities not registered or hereafter registered in the name of the City of Ukiah.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of July, 1996, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mastin, Malone, Wattenburger, Shoemaker, and Mayor Schneiter.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTAIN: None.
