HomeMy WebLinkAbout858ORDINANCE NO. 858 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH PREZONING CERTAIN PROPERTIES UKIAH NORTH 291 WHEREAS, the City of Ukiah has filed Prezone Application No. 86-69, Ukiah North, to implement goals and objectives established by the City Council, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 65859, the City has the authority to prezone property within its sphere of influence, and WHEREAS, the subject prezone includes 1110 parcels extending from the northern city boundaries to Highway 20 and westerly to the foothills from the Russian River, and WHEREAS, this project is to prezone the area from County of Mendocino: AG, Agricultural; C-l, Limited Commercial; C-i:PD, Limited Commercial Planned Development; C-2, General Commercial; I1, Limited Industrial; 1-2, General Industrial; P-F, Public Facilities; R-l, Single Family Residential; R-2, Two Family Residential; R-3, Multiple Family Residential; R-R, Rural Residential; RR:L-5, Rural Residential, 5 acre minimum; RR:L-iO, Rural Residential, 10 acre minimum; R-L, Rangeland; S-R, Suburban Residential; SR:PD, Suburban Residential Planned Development; and U-R, Upland Residential to City of Ukiah: R-l, Single Family; R-l-H-4, Single Family/Hillside; R-2, Multiple Family; R-3, General Multiple; C-l, Light Commercial; C-2, Highway Commercial and Restricted Industrial; M, Manufacturing; PD, Planned Development and AE, Agricultural Exclusive, and WHEREAS, the City of Ukiah Planning Commission on June 25, 1986 approved the prezone as proposed with the exception of parcels 170-010-05, 170-020-03, 170-030-01 and 170-040-01 and WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration of Environmental Impact for this matter was found adequate and complete by the City Council on August 6, 1986. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does Ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Properties commonly designated as Mendocino County Assessor Parcel Numbers presented in Exhibit A are prezoned to the noted City of Ukiah zoning district. SECTION 2. These prezoning classifications shall become effective at such time as 292 o~ the properties so prezoned are annexed to the City of Ukiah The . .. ..:'. .... zoning map, adopted by Sect5on 9006 of the C~ty of Uk~ah Hun~cSpal Code as amended by previous zone changes, shall be amended at that tSme as well.
