ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF UKIAH PREZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY,
TALMAGE ROAD NORTH

I~EREAS, the City of Ukiah has filed Prezone Application'No. 85-16, and
·
K~EREAS, pursuant to California Code Section 65859, the City has the
authority to prezone property which is subject to possible annexation, and
~EREAS, the City of Ukiah Planning Commission on October 10, 1984 did
not approve the prezone from Mendocino County AG:40, Agricultural, 40 acre
minimum, to City of Ukiah C-i, Light Commercial, and
WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration of Environmental Impact for this matter
was found adequate and complete when the land Use Designation was changed as
part of General Plan Amendment 1984-AA.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does Ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1.
That properties commonly designated as Mendocino County Assessor Parcel
Numbers 180-040-06, 07 and 08 are prezoned from Mendocino County AG: 40,
Agricultural, 40 acre minimum, to City of Ukiah C-I, Light Commercial.
SECTION 2.
Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof shows and describes the
properties listed in Section 1. This prezoning classification shall
become effective at such time as the property so prezoned is annexed to
the City of Ukiah. The zoning map adopted by Section 9006, of the City
of Ukiah Code as amended by previous zone changes, shall be amended at
that time as well.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be published as required by law in a newspaper of
general circulation published in the City of Ukiah.
SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall become effective upon the annexation of the subject
property.

the following roll call vote:
