RESOLUTION NO. 78-44
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF UKIAH ESTABLISHING FEES AND CHARGES AT
THE UKIAH MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE SITE
BE IT RESOLVED that the following fees and charges
are hereby established for materials delivered to the
Solid Waste Site.
A. Material delivered in compacted form and in
vehicle having an operating compaction device;
$2.25/yard
B. Material delivered in a loose uncompacted state:
$1.50/yard
First 5 yards per delivery: $1.50/yd.
Additional yardage - same load: $1.25/yd.
C. Materials in the opinion of the responsible City
employee that have been compacted and transferred
to another vehicle for the purpose of avoiding the
compacted material charge shall be charged at the
rate of $2.25 per cubic yard. Fees charged under
this provision are subject to appeal by the payor
to the City Manager and City Council on the condition
that the payor immediately register his protest with
the Disposal Site Gateperson. Fees thus paid
shall be received under protest and shall be held
pending a decision on the merit of the appeal.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these rates shall be
effective November 21, 1977 and all resolutions in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of November, 1977, by
the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen Brannon, Wood, Feibusch, Mayor Simpson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilwoman Snyder
