HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-77RESOLUTION NO. 77-77 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH GRANTING USE PERMIT (Jim Kelley Appeal from Planninq Commission) WHEREAS, the Planning Con~ission denied a request by Jim Kelley to extend a use permit to operate an auto upholstery business as a home occupation in an R-2 zone, and WHEREAS, appeal was timely taken to the City Council from that 10 denial, ahd 11 WHEREAS, the City Council heard said appeal at a recularly 12 noticed public hearing at its meeting of April 6, 1977 at which the 15 following findings were made: 14 Findings: 15 1. That the operation as conducted by Mr. Kelley is a 15 proper home occupation under the City of Ukiah Zoning 17 Ordinance. 18 2. That the action requested is in'harmony with the pro- 19 visions of the City of Ukiah Zoning Ordinance and 20 applicable amendments thereto. 21 THEREFORE, IT IS 'HEREBY RESOLVED THAT: ~ The use permit on appeal is granted tO Mr. James Kelley of ~5 725 North Oak Street to conduct auto upholstery business at that ~4 address subject to the following conditions: ~5 ~7 28 50 51 1. Standard Conditions 1 thru 9 of the Rules of Practice and Procedure of the Planning Commission. 2. Use permit to be renewed annually. 3. View obscuring fence 6 feet in height be constructed on rear property line within 90 days of acceptance of use permit. 4. No business sign be displayed at 725 North Oak Street. 5. No on-street parking of customer vehicles allowed. 6. No employees be hired.
