RESOLUTION NO. 75-51
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF
UKIAH OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNED
"ANNEXATION NO. 74-7" (LOW GAP COUNTY COMPI,RX ANNEXATION)
Whereas, the County of Mendocino, owner of the parcel in question, has
requested its annexation to the City of Ukiah, and
Whereas, a petition for annexation of territory to the City of Ukiah
was duly filed with the Mendocino ~ounty Local Agency Formation Commission
on December 17, 1974, said petition being heard January 6, 1975, and
Whereas, it was resolved and ordered by the Mendocino County Local
Agency Formation Commission in Resolution No. 75-1, that the annexation of
territory to the City of Ukiah, Annexation NOo 74-7, and designated by name
as Low Gap County Complex Annexation to the City of Ukiah be approved, and
Whereas, pursuant to California Government Code Section 54797.1, the
Mendocino County Local Agency Formation Commission has authorized the
annexation proceedings by the City of Ukiah to be conducted without need
for public notice, hearing, or election.
Now, Therefore, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby
Resolve:
That pursuant to the authority given it under California Government
Code Section 54797.1 and as so authorized to act by the Mendocino County
Local Agency Commission that parcel of uninhabited territory designed as
Low Gap County Complex Annexation is annexed to the City of Ukiah.
Be It Further Resolved and Ordered:
That the Clerk of the Ukiah City Council is hereby authorized and
directed to mail certified copies of this resolution in the manner as pro-
vided by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of February, 1975, by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen Weinkauf, Wood, Simpson, Mayor Pearson
