HomeMy WebLinkAbout75-02 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 30 31 32 RESOLUTION NO. 75-2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH STATING ITS INTENTION TO ABANDON CERTAIN PROPERTY DEDICATED FOR STREET PURPOSES Whereas, the final map approved by the City of Ukaih for Feibusch Sub- Division by Resolution No. 74-8 on July 18, 1974 and on file with the City Clerk dedicated for street purposes a 25 foot wide strip of land at the north end of Lot No. 5 and, Whereas, subsequent staff review and evaluation has determined that it would be improper to locate a street at this point and said strip has never been used as a street and, Whereas, the City Council of the City of Ukiah is empowered to vacate said dedicated property pursuant to the authority contained in California Street and Highway Code Section 8300 through 8324. Now, Therefore, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby Resolve: That it intends to vacate the aforementioned strip and establishes as the date and time for the required public hearing, August 7, 1974, at 8:00 p.m or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. At said public hearing it is the duty of the City Council to determine upon a showing of evidence that the strip in question is unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes.
