RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCE TO
PACIFIC TELEPHONE COMPANY
The City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby
RE SOLVE:
An application for variance having been duly presented and filed, the Planning
Commission of the City of Ukiah having duly held a public hearing, taken evidence,
and made and filed its recommendations, and the City Council of the City of Ukiah,
having duly considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission;
The City Council hereby finds that the proposed variance is in harmony with the
general purpose of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Ukiah and meets the conditions
thereof; and
Does hereby grant Variance No. 74-20 to:
Pacific Telephone Company
to permit:
elimination of off street parkinq requirement for
building addition at 305 West Stephenson Street
all subject to the following conditions:
1) Standard Conditions 1 through 9 of the Planning Commission as they
apply.
2) That landscaping for the new addition be to the approval of the Public
Works Director and that an automated sprinkler system be installed
to his approval around the south, east, and north landscaped areas;
3) That if trash collection facilities can be seen from the public
right of way that a view obscuring screen be provided around such
facilities;
4) That a 6' high view obscuring screen be erected on the west property
line to the residential setback on Clay and Stephenson Streets.
If any condition set forth above is violated, or if any required approval is not
obtained, then this variance shall be null and void, otherwise to continue in full
force and effect indefinitely and to run with the land. This variance is granted only
for the specific purposes set forth above, and shall not be construed as eliminating
or modifying any building, use or zone requirements except as to such specific purposes.
