HomeMy WebLinkAbout76-38 1 2 4 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 14 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 2~ 24 25 26 27 ~0 $2 RESOLUTION NO. 76-38 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF UKIAH OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED "ANNEXATION NO. 75-10a (UKIAH UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT LOW GAP PROPERTY ANNEXATION) Whereas, the Ukiah Unified School District, owner of the parcel in question, has requested its annexation to the City of Ukiah, and Whereas, a petition for annexation of territory to the City of Ukiah was duly filed with the Mendocino County Local Agency Formation Commission said petition being heard January 5, 1976, and Whereas, it was resolved and ordered by the Mendocino County Local Agency Formation Commission in Resolution No. 76-1, that the annexation of territory to the City of Ukiah, Annexation No. 75-10a, and designated by name as Ukiah Unified School District Low Gap Property Annexation to the City of Ukiah be approved, and Whereas, pursuant to California Government Code Section 54797.1, the Mendocino County Local Agency Formation Commission has authorized the annexation proceedings by the City of Ukiah to be conducted without need for public notice, hearing, or election. Now, Therefore, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby Resolve: That pursuant to the authority given it under California Government Code Section 54797.1 and as so authorized to act by the Mendocino County Local Agency Commission that parcel of uninhabited territory designed as Ukiah Unified School District Low Gap Property Annexation is annexed to the City of Ukiah. Be it Further Resolved and Ordered: That the Clerk of the Ukiah City Council is hereby authorized and directed to mail certified copies of this resolution in the manner as provided by law.
