HomeMy WebLinkAbout73-381 2 RESOLUTION NO. 73-38 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ABANDON A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT (FAIRWAY OAKS SUBDIVISION, NO. 5) Whereas, pursuant to California Government Code Sections 50430 through 50445 provide for the abandonment of public utility easements; and Whereas, the City of Ukiah has no further need for the easement herein- after described. Now, Therefore, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby Resolve: 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Ukiah to abandon the hereinafter described easement. 2. That the easement to be abandoned is that 15 foot public utility easement lying between lots 15 and 16 of Fairway Oaks Subdivision No. 5 and that 10 foot public utility easement lying between lots 20 and 21 of Fairway Oaks Subdivision all as more particularly described and shown on the Subdivision Map on file with the County Recorder of Mendocino County, said map being found in Map Case 2, Drawer 15, Page 91. 3. That a Public Hearing is hereby scheduled for April 18, 1973, so that all persons interested in the proposed vacation of the above described easement may be heard. The time for hearing shall be at 8:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as it may be heard in the City Council Chambers, in the City Hall, 203 So. School Street, Ukiah California on the previously mentioned date.
