HomeMy WebLinkAbout73-28RESOLUTION NO. 73-28 RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCE TO Church of the Nazarene The City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby RESOLVE: An application for variance having been duly presented and filed, the Planning Commission of the City of Ukiah having duly held a public hearing, taken evidence, and made and filed its recommendations, and the City Council of the City of Ukiah, having duly considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission; The City Council hereby finds that the proposed variance is in harmony with the general purpose of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Ukiah and meets t~he conditions thereof; and Does hereby grant Variance No. 73-5 to: Church of the Nazarene to permit: encroachment into the required twenty (20)__feet setback by ten (10) __ feet for the purpose of building a sanctuary all subject to the following conditions: 1. Standard Conditions Nos. 1 thru 9 contained in the Rules of Practice and Procedure of the Planning Commission on file with the Clerk shall apply in addition to any special conditions set forth below. 2. The special conditions listed below shall apply: ao Stipulation of 18 months to complete construction. b. After plans are developed, they are to be brought back to the Planning Commission for architectural approval of the extension. c. Curb, gutter and sidewalk be extended to the balance of the property frontage on Luce Avenue. d. Only parallel parking to be permitted on street frontages. Present perpendicular parking on LuceStreet to be discontinued. If any condition set forth above is violated, or if any required approval is not obtained, then this variance shall be null and void, otherwise to continue in full force and effect indefinitely and to run with the land. This variance is granted only for the specific purposes set forth above, and shall not be construed as eliminating or modifying any building, use or zone requirements except as to such specific purposes.
