HomeMy WebLinkAbout71-34RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH TO INITIATE PROCEEDINGS TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE BY REZONING CERTAIN TERRITORY FIXING PUBLIC HEARING, AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE TIME AND PLACE THEREOF The City Council of the City of Ukiah does RESOLVE: That pursuant to Section 9245 of the Ukiah City Code the City Council intends to amend the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Ukiah as follows 1. Rezone the existing CM Zone along the South side of East Gobbi Street from the Northwestern Pacific Railroad easterly to the City Limits to CN to a depth two hundred (200) feet from the South line of East Gobbi Street, the remainder of said existing CM zone to be zoned R-3. The existing M zone to be rezoned C-2. 2. The area within Annexation No. 65-2 (Waugh Lane) to the City of Ukiah, presently unzoned, to be zoned as follows: a. The area between the Northwestern Pacific Railroad and Waugh Lane to be zoned C-2. b. The area East of Waugh Lane to be zoned R-3. 3. The parcel owned by Joseph L. Foutz et ux, presently zoned A-1 by Mendocino County to be zoned R-3 as such property has now been annexed to the City as shown on detailed maps on file with the Planning Commission, City Hall, Ukiah, California; and, IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that after public hearing such Council may adopt by amendment to the Zoning Ordinance more or less restrictive regulations than existing zoning on such property. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that Wednesday, the 28th day of April, 1971, at 8:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the same may be heard, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, is hereby fixed as the time and place at which all persons interested may appear and be heard thereon.
