HomeMy WebLinkAbout71-07RESOLUTI ON NO. ~,i,," - ,/" RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCE VINCENT IL._ ANGELL TO The City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby RESOLVE: An application for variance having been duly presented and filed, the Planning Commission of the City of Ukiah having duly held a public hearing, taken evidence, and made and filed its recommendations, and the City Council of the City of Ukiah, having duly considered the recom- mendations of the Planning Commission; The City Council hereby finds that the proposed variance is in harmony wi th the general purpose of the Zoning Ordinance of the City Ukiah and meets the conditions thereof; and of Does hereby grant Variance No. 70-16 to: VINCENT H. ANGELL to permi t: Construction of a Pharmacy Buildinq a.t 398 W. Mill Street~ parcel zoned R-1. all subject to the following conditions: ]) 2) Location and construction shall conform to application and to plot plan and sketch submitted wi th application. This variance shall be put into effect by completion of construction, i'f any, within one (1) year from the date of granting hereof. If the use permitted shall cease for six (6) consecutive months then this variance shall automatically terminate. 3) Standard Conditions 1 - 9. 4) All parking lot lighting be restricted to lights hidden under the building roof and not directed so as to cause nuisance to the adjacent residences. 5) That professional type signs be permitted only with the approval of the Buildin§ Official. Signs to be comparable to those which currently exist in the area. 6) Portland cement concrete walks and driveways be installed on all street frontages to City of Ukiah specifications. 7) Pharmacy limited to the sale of prescriptions, drugs, patent medicines, surgical supplies and t~ospital supplies, and other items normally associated wi th a prescription pharmacy. If any condition set forth above is violated, or if any required approval is not obtained, then this variance shall be nul! and void, otherwise to continue in full force and effect indefinitely and to run with the land. This variance is granted only for the specific purposes set forth above, and shall not be construed as eliminating or modifying any building, use or zone requirements except as to such specific purposes.
