RESOLUTION NO. 70-27
DECLARING RESULTS OF ELECTION
WHEREAS, it appears that Notice of Election was duly and legally given,
that voting precincts were properly established, and that in all respects
said election received and canvassed, and the returns thereof made, determined,
and declared in time form and manner as required by the laws of the State of
California providing for and regulating Municipal Elections in cities of the
General Law Class, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City of Ukiah met in the Council
Chambers thereof on Tuesday, the 21st day of April, 1970 to canvass returns
of said election and install the newly elected officers, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds as a result of said canvass, the number
of votes cast, the names of the persons voted for, and other matters as re-
quired by law to be as hereinafter stated,
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved, determined and declared as
follows:
That said General Municipal Election was held and conducted in the City
of Ukiah on Tuesday, April 14, 1970, in time, form and manner prescribed by
law;
Thai there were five (5) voting precincts established in said City for
the purpose of holding said election and that said precincts are described
in the Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
That the matters enumerated in Section 22933 of the Elections Code are
contained in the State of Election which statement is attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
RESOLVED THEREFORE, that at said General Municipal Election held in the
City of Ukiah, April 14, 1970 the following persons were elected to the
following offices respectively:
HAROLD D. HENDERSON was elected a member of the City CouncilOr the
full term of four years from and after April 14, 1970 and until his successor '

is elected and qualified.
RALPH I. BUXTON was elected a member of the City Council for the full
term of four years from and after April 14, 1970 and until his successor is
elected and qualified.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of April, 1970.

NOTE TO THE INSPECTOR:

Ukiah, and several cards containing the telephone number of my office
which any 'voter may call. for information in regard to voting. Should
there be a question regarding precincts and polling places, they' are as
follows:

Polling Place: Daniels-Har'lowe, 1080 N. State Street

Comprising State and County precincts Nos. 12, 13, 14, and 15
Polling Place: Yokayo School, 355 West Clay Street
VOTING PRECINCT "D"
Comprising State and County precincts Nos. 10, 11, 17 and 18
Polling Place: Pomolita School, 790 S. Dora Street
VOTING PRECINCT "E"
Comp~ising State and County precincts Nos. 16, 19 and 20
Polling Place: Nokomis School, Washington and Helen Avenues.
