HomeMy WebLinkAbout69-47,ORIGiNA 1Z 13 15 lB 17 18 19 ~0 ~5 ~8 ~0 RESOLLITION NO. 69-47 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH APPROVING 'ISCHEDULE OF TAXICAB RATES, CHARGES, AND REGULATIONS", DATED JUNE 1, 1.969 The City Counci] of the City o-F Ul<iah does hereby RESOLVE: That the rates, charges, and regulations set forth in the attached "Schedule of Taxicab Rates, Charges, and Regu- lations'', dated June ], ]qr~a..v~, which is incorporated herein by reference, are hereby approved and adopted, and become effective June ], 1969. This resolution shall supercede all previous rates, charges, and regulations previously imposed by resolution or minute action of the City PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1969. Counci 1 . 14th day of May ATTEST: City of Ukiah Schedule of .Taxl ca.~ .Rates., Cha rqes. and June l, 1969 Requlati OhS. · · 0 Meters Required Approved taxi meters capable of visibly computing the amount due from a passenger or passengers shall be maintai'ned in all taxicabs operating within or without the City of Uk~ah. Use of meters Such meters shall be used for all trips· The flag shall be dropped at the b~'9!nning of a trip and not raised until the conclusion of that trip except as hereinafter provided. The passenger or passengers shall be char~ed the amount shown on the meter except as provided ~n tara- graph /+ of thls schedule. Ra tes On all trips within or without the city limits, rate shall be 60¢ on the flag drop for the first mile and 10¢ for each 1/6 mile thereafter· the meter Mu ltiple Passengers The person or persons originally enga9ing a taxi cab shall have the exclusive right to the full and free use of the passenger compartment and the owner or dr~ver of such vehicle shall not carry other passengers contrary to this right· ~f more than one person originally engage a taxi cab, or if the person or persons who originally engage such vehicle consent to sharing of the passenger compartment wi th another person or other persons, rates shall be determined as follows: a · Same point of origin and destination: Where more than one passenger enters a cab at the same point of origin for the same destination, no additional charge shall be levied for any ~pa~ssengers except that, between the hours of O0 p.m. ~nd 6:00 a.m. an extra charge of 30¢ shall be levied for each adult passenger in ex- cess of two. b · Same point of origin but different destination: Where more than one passenger enga9e a cab at a same point of origin to 9o to two or more destinations, the first passenger to debark shall pay the regular charge for that trip. After discharge of said passenger, the flag shall be dropped again at that point and the second passenger shall pay the regular charge from that Tax!ca,.b. Ra.t.es.
