HomeMy WebLinkAbout78-68RESOLUTION NO. 78-68 1 8 4 6 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 2O 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 80 81 82 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH REGARDING THE 1977 APPORTIONMENT OF FEDERAL-AID FOR SAFER OFF-SYSTEM ROADS FUNDS WHEREAS, the Mendocino County apportionment of Federal-Aid for safer Off-System Roads Funds for the fiscal year ending 30 September 1977 is $166,824, and WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of a Cities-County Agreement approved by the City Council 21 September 1977 and rati- fied by the County Board of Supervisors 25 October 1977 the City of Ukiah share of the 1977 apportionment is $11,533, and WHEREAS, the agreement cited above provides that the City, at its option, may elect to accept from County, in lieu of its share of the available Federal apportionment, a direct payment in the amount of seventy-five percent (75%) of said share. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND SO ORDERED by the City Council of the City of Ukiah that said City hereby requests in lieu of its share of the 1977 Mendocino County Apportionment of Federal-Aid for Safer Off-System Roads Funds a direct payment from County an amount equal to seventy-five percent (75%) of said share. 15 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1978 by the following roll call vote: AYES: NOES: day of February Councilmen Brannon, Wood, Feibusch, Councilwoman Snyder and Mayor Simpson None ABSENT: None ATTEST: SITY CLERK- DEPUTy
