HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-09RESOLUTION NO. 79-9 2 4 6 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 18 19 2O 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 80 81 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH ESTABLISHING THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY TO CONDEMN CERTAIN LAND (BUSH STREET EXTENSION) WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing regarding the public interest and necessity for condemning certain property, and WHEREAS, the property in question is to be used for the ex- tension of Bush Street, such acquisition being authorized by California Government Code Sections 37350.5 and 40404, and WHEREAS, the property in question is on the north side of Low Gap Road, immediately north of the present terminus of Bush Street and consists of approximately the westerly 70 feet of assessor's parcel number 1-43-020. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Ukiah declares: That it has found and. determined that the public interest and necessity require the proposed project; Further, it is found and determined that the project is planned and located in the manner that will be most compatible with the greatest public good and create the least private injury; It is further found and determined that the property described above is necessary for the proposed project.
