HomeMy WebLinkAbout68-13RESOLUTION NO 68- 13 RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO TED FEIBUSCH FOR HIS EFFORTS IN CONSTRUCTING NEW CITY POOL The City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby RESOLVE: W/{EREAS, recognizing the need for an impz~ved facility at the Ukiah Municipal Pool suitable for training young swimmers and for holding swim ~m~ets and similar events and for general public swimming, Mr. Ted Feibusch generously offered to spearhead a drive for public subscription cf sufficient funds to construct a new swimming pool , and to supervise the construction of the same, all at no expense to the City, and to offer the completed facility to the City at no cost; and, WHEREAS, by his own personal efforts, aided by the efforts of a number of public spirited citizens, Mr. Ted Feibusch was able to obtain sufficient public contributions of money and services to successfully complete the construction of the new pool, which has now been given to the City for public use; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby publicly commend Mr. Ted Feibusch on his industry and efforts, and does hereby direct that a copy of this resolution, suitably framed, be presented to Mr. Feibusch as an expression of the appreciation of the City of Ukiah for his generous contribution to the public ~lfare. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of September, 1967 by'the following vote: AYES: Councilmen Scotto, Crook, Henderson, Harlowe and Mayor Nor9ard. NO'~:~: None. ABSENT: None. MAYOR
