WHEREAS,THE CITY COUNCT7. has adopted Resolution No. 67-48 entitled
,.
"Resolution of Intention to Vacate Portion of North End of Live Oak
Avenue", and has held a public hearing with notice duly given and has
heard and considered all comments thereon and objections thereto,
NOW, therefore, the City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby
RESOLVE:
The City Council finds from the evidence submitted that the portion
of street at the North end of Live Oak Avenue hereinafter described is
unnecessary for p~esent or prospective public street purposes except
as to the easement for public utilities purposes hereinafter reserved;and,
Pursuant to part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code
of Califozmia, that portion of the North end of Live Oak Avenue hereinafter
described be and the same is hereby vacated. Said property to be
vacated is described as a portion of the North End of Live Oak Avenue in
the City of Ukiah, County of Mendocino, State of Califormia, more
particularly described as follows:
A portion of the strip of land designated as
Live Oak Avenue on the map of Fairway Oaks Subdivision
No. i filed for record in Map case l, Drawer 10, page
59, Mendocino County P~cords, described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast cozmer of Lot 1 as
designated on said map; thence No~th 19° 42' East
along the East line of said Lot l, 161.51 feet to the Northeast
co~ner thereof; thence leaving the East line of said
Lot i along the North boundary of Live Oak Avenue,
Sout.h.' ?1 o 30' East, 40.01 feet; thence South 19°
42' M$st, along the East line of Live Oak Avenue,
161.65 feet; thence leaving the East line of Live
Oak Avenue from a tangent that bears North 40~ 18' West
along the arc of a curve to the left with a radius of 40 feet
through a central an~e of 60° 00', a distance of
41.89 feet to the point of beginning.
RESERVING an easement along the Easterly beunda~ of
said Lot No. 1 for the construction, maintehance, re-con-
struction or repair of' sewers, water lines, pipelines,
power lines and all other types of public utilitF:, facilities,
cummunication and fire alarm systems~ as follows:
Parcel-1 Being a strip of land ten (10) feet in width,
and lying to the West of and contiguous to the East line
of the hereinabove described portion of 1,iwe'0ak Avenue

being vacated.
Parcel
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot i of
Fairway Oaks Subdivision filed in Map Case l, Drawer
10, Page 59, Nendocino County Official Records; thence
from said point of beginning following the East lineA
of said Lot I North 19° 42' East 2~.0 feet; South 70v
18' East 5.0 feet; thence South 19 42' West 24.99
feet to a point North line of Live Oak Avenue thence
from a tangent that bears South 89 15' 0~" ;

along a curve to the left with a radius of 40.0
feet, through a central angle of 7° 09' 44" a distance
of 5.0 feet to the point of beginning.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a certified copy of this
Resolution, duly attested, to be recorded in the office of the County
Recorder of Mendocino County. This Resolution shall constitute notice
that the aforesaid vacation proceedings are hereby terminated and the
notice recorded in Book 734, Page 74 of Official Records of Mendocino
County is hereby terminated insofar as concerns any further or future
proceedings.
