RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF UKIAH AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND
CLERK TO SIGN CONTRACT WITH COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION FOR ADMINISTRA-
TIVE SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City has determined that it is in its interest
to apply to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
("HUD") for a grant under the Small Cities Program to alleviate
community development and housing problems; and
WHEREAS, the City, for reasons of efficiency and economy,
and the expertise of CDC in applying for and administering such
grants, wishes to contract for CDC staff services needed with re-
spect to the planning and preparation of said application, and for
the carrying out of the projects in the application, if the same
is approved by HUD;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Mayor and
Clerk are authorized to sign the contract with the CDC to admin-
ister the housing rehabilitation grant covering the Wagonsellers
area of Ukiah (Clara Avenue).
PASSED AND ADOPTED this llth day of April, 1979 by the
following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmember Hickey, Simpson, Brannon, Mayor Snyder
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmember Myers
