HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-70 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 ~0 31 32 2 RESOLUTION NO. 79-70 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH CONCURRING IN THE UPDATING OF DESIGNATED PROJECT PRIORITIES FOR THE UKIAH AREA FEDERAL AID URBAN PROGRAM FUNDING WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ukiah did, by i! Resolution No. 75-60, approve the Federal Aid Urban Street System and did designate the Director of Public Works of Ukiah to serve as City's official representative on the F.A.U. Project Selection Committee; and WHEREAS, the City Council, by Resolution No. 75-73, did adopt the Ukiah Urban Area Program Priority Listing submitted at that time by the Selection Committee; and WHEREAS, because of certain project completions and re-evaluation of area demands, it is now necessary to review and, subsequently, re-identify the Ukiah Urban Area F.A.U. Program on a priority basis; and WHEREAS, the F.A.U. Selection Committee has now prepared an appropriate update of the Ukiah Urban Area F.A.U. Program and has forwarded their recommendations as set forth in the attached Exhibit "A" to both the City and the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors; and WHEREAS, City Council has now reviewed the updated priority recommendations of the F.A.U. Selection Committee and has determined that those recommendations as set forth in the attached Exhibit "A" are appropriate and should be adopted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and so ordered that the City Council of the City of Ukiah hereby finds and determines that the updated F.A.U. Program for the Ukiah Urban Area should consist of those projects and in the priority listing as indicated on the attached Exhibit "A"; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED and so ordered that the F.A.U. Selection Committee be instructed to review the Ukiah Urban -- 1 -- 1 2 3 4 6 -/ 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 Areas F.A.U. Program, on no less than an annual basis, and as projects are completed and/or priorities change to forward their findings and recommendations to this Council for appropriate consideration.
