RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
r. YERMINATION 0F FREE
SERVICE UNDER 1892 GIBSON-
HART',~L!, DEED AND R~.iLINQUISH-
MENT OF WELL' SITE PROPERTY
The City Council of the City of N~'iah does hereby
RESOLVE-
1. The City Council hereby find. s and d_,t~rm~n~,o that
because of the recent dew~lopment of the new water collector
system, the City of Ukiah has sufficient water production capacity
without retent'~ - .

~_. The City Engineer has reported to the City Cok~cil that
water from we!! Site No. i is not of quality suitable f~lr direct
use, and that Well ~)mte No. 1 has for the past years been ~ 'q
only as ~emporary emergency source and ~ha% ~he need ~or a
temporary, emergency source of ~'a(-~-~ of the ~ualz~:t e- + ~ ,-- ·
Well Site No. 1 has ceased because of the development of the new
water collector productioz] facilities, which, report the City
Council finds to be true.
~. The City' Engineer has ~ported to the City Council that
noae of the water transmission facilities presently used are
in the areas of easement granted by Gibson to the ~iah Water Co.,
and that retention of such easements a~ unnecessary because a.z~ea

Termination of service shall be 30 days after service of
such notice; provided, the City attorney is authorized to extend
the time for service for the convenience of the Court and parties
by stipulation, oral or written notice or other appropriate means
