HomeMy WebLinkAbout66-2610 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 24 25 26 28 29 3O 31 66-26 RESOLUTION DIRECTING FILING WITH THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY COMMISSION PROTEST TO REQUESTED RELINQUISHMENT NO. 702 OF THE DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS. The City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby RESOLVE as follows: WHEREAS, the State Division of Highways having on the 2~th day of September, 1965, served upon this City its "Notice of intention to Relinquish State Highway" dated September 22, 1965 accompanied by its proposed resolution of relinquishment for adoption by the State Highway Commission, all such documents which were accompanied by drawings delineating the highways proposed to be relinquished to this City as portions oF State Route 101 (State Street) and State Route 222 (Talmage Road), which documents are further designated "O1-Men-lO1, 222-25.1-25. 6,0.0-0.2 Rel. Req. No. 702"; and, WHEREAS, Section 73 of the Street and Highways provides for the right of a city to protest relinquishment within 90 days of the notice of intention to relinquish by Code of California any such proposed date of service of such protesting in writing to the California Highway Commission stating the grounds therefor; WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that this City protest such proposed relinquishment as to the areas and for the reasons more fully set forth in the attached "PROTEST TO PROPOSED RELINQUISHMENT REQUEST NO. 702 (Relinquishment of Superceded o~tate Highway in the City of Ukiah, Road Ol-Hen-lO1, 222, 23. 1-25.6,0o0-02)" reference. NOW, THEREFORE, au thor ized and Highway Commission, directed to appear which said protest is incorporated herein by the City Manager of the City of Ukiah is hereby directed to file said protest with the State and the City Manager and City Attorney are before said Commission in support of such -1- id 10 11 12 13 iA 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 28 29 5O 31 protest, and to present such testimony and evidence as may be necessary, PASSED AND ADOPTED this z ~:~, day of December, 1965 by the Following vote: -2-
