HomeMy WebLinkAbout66-10RESOLUTION NO. 66:10 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT IN LOTS 1, 2 AND 3 IN WALNUT COURT SUBDIVISION, AND FIXING TIME AND PLACE OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREON° The City Council of the City of Ukiah does hereby RESOLVE: Application for abandonment of portions of public utility easement in Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Walnut Court Subdivision having been made by the owners of such lots, the City Council does hereby declare its election to proceed pursuant to the provisions of Article 5, Part 1, Ch&pter 2, Division 1, Title 5 of the Government Code of California (Sections 50430 ~ 50~45) and its intent to vacate such portions of easement, said portions of easement to be vacated being described as follows: That certai~ public utility easement five (5) feet in width lying along the easterly boundary of Lot 3, and that certain p~biic utility.easement five (5) feet in width lying along the westerly boundaries of Lots ] and 2, excepting those portions of said easements lying along the southerly ten (IO) feet of Lots 1 and 3, said Lots being in Walnut Court Subdivi sion. Reference is made to the map of Walnut Court Subidivision showing the portions of easement proposed to be vacated now on file in the office of the City Clerk and is there available for public inspection. Wednesday, September 15, 1965, at 8:00 o~c]ock P.M. or as soon thereafter as the same may be heard, in the Council Chambers, City Ha]], Ukiah, California is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in such proposed vacation of easement. This resolution shall be published once a week for two weeks, the first publication being not less than two weeks prior to such hearing, and at least three cop[es of such resolution shall be posted along such easement during the period of publication.
