RESOLUTION CONCERNING_EXTENSION OF LESLIE ST~EET
RESOLVED by the- City Council of the City of Ukiah:
That it finds, determines and hereby declares as follows:
3 ii That public interest and necessity require the acquisition
of certain lands, hereinafter more particularly described, for t~
4 i:! purposes of a street, and it is hereby determined that it is
necessary that the fee in such lands be taken for said purpose.

.t Said proposed public improvement is 'planned and located
S in a manner which will be most ccmpatible with the greatest
public good and the least private injury; and be it further
Resolved by this City Council that the City Attorney of
8 ~ the City of Ukiah institute eminent domain proceedings for the
;i purpose of acquiring, on behalf of said City, a fee simple estat~
~ i! in and to the said hereinafter described real pr~pert~ or inter-
'~ ~sts in real property,, b~f condemnation in accordance with the
l0 !i provisions of the Statutes and the Constitution of the State of
California relating to eminent domain; to make application to
llI proper ~ourt for an order fixing the amount of such security in
ii the way of money deposits as said court may direct, and for an
l~ ii order permitting said city to take immediate possession and use
of said real property, or interests in real property, as a right
15 i~ of way for public street purposes; to make deposit of such
il security out of proper funds under the control of said city, in
l~i such amount so fixed and determined, ~nd in such manner as said
~ court in which such condemnation proceedings are pendin~ ma~
