WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ukiah has received a
written petition requesting annexation of certain lands here-
inafter perbiculsrly described, by which petition it is proposed
that certain, territory be anneXed'to the City of Ukiah ss unin-
habited territory, wki_ch said Petition is signed by the owners
of not less than one-fourth of the land in the territory proposed
t° be annexed by area and by value, as shown on the:lsat qualified
assessment roll of the County of Nendocino, State of California,
in which the territory is situated, the City Council of the City
of Ukiah does hereby resolve ss follows:
That st the hour of 8 o'clock P.M. on the 17th day of~
October, 1952, at the Council Chambers of the City Council of the
City of Ukiah, at Ukiah, California, the City Council of the City.
of Ukiah will hear and consider any objections or protests to th~
proposed annexation .to the City of Ukia.h, and any perso.n~....ow~ing~
real property within such territory sought to be man,xed an~ having
any objections to the proposed annexation may appear before said
City Council and show cause, if any he has, why such territory
should not be annexed.
The territory so sought to be annexed is situate inthe
County of Mendocino, S%ate,_ of California, particularly described
as follows:
BEING a portion of Lot 120 of the Yokay0 Rancho, more
particularly described ss follows:
BEGINNING at the northwest corner of that Record of
\Survey-as recorded in Drawer V, Map 185, Mendocino Cuunty
Record. S Thence from said point of beginningI~ 9° 08~
36" E ~19.88 ft; thence S.'lOo 23' E., 81.49' ; thence
S. 12°.53, E. 200.00 ft; thenc~ N. 89° 31~ 40" E., 223.57
ft; to a. point in the westerly edge. of .the State Highway
and pre.sent city limits line thence along said highway and
city ~limits line S. 12o 53' ;E., 8~5 feet; thence leaving
said highway and Continuing along the present city limits
line S. 84° 09~ 30" W., 220 feet; thence S. 12.0 53. E.,
625.19 feet; thence S. 84° 09~ 30'" W., 1107.17 feet; thence.

the aboVe described parcel of land.
