(h) All underground utilities shall be shown on a ~lan-

(a) All streets and highways shall be graded and paved

(g) Any varietion from types of subgrade preparation and/
or roadway surfacing as specified herein shall be for types not
less than equal to tL.ose specified; shall be requested by the sub~
divider in writing and no variation permitted with.~ut the written
ap?reval of the City ~ngmneer.
(h) All struct~.res or conduits to b~ constructed within
the subdivision shall be shown on th~ ~i~lans and be approved by
the City ~ngineer.
(i) Subdividers shall be hel0. responsible for obtaining
i~spection and approval by the City ~ngineer for all structures
or conduits constructed within the limits of the subd~_vision
public rights of way.
(j) All curbs and gutters sh~ll be constructed of
Class "A" Z~ortland ~ement concrete (6 sacks of cement per cubic
yard), in accordance with the Sections ~ an~ ~0 of "Standard
Opecificstions, ~tate of California, Department of Public ~orks,
January, 1~49."
(1) ~!1 curbs and gutters to be constructed in areas
subdivided, before the adoption of these specifications shall
conform '[:o the requirements herein.

(n) Sidewalks shall be constructed in ~ccordance with
the Standard1 Details, therefor, contained in these specifications.

Cement concrete, (6 sacks of cement per cubic yard), and in
accordance with Section ~ of "Standard E~ecificstions, State of
January 1949"

(p) Subdividers shall request and obtain inspections by
the City Engineer for each of the follovJin~i~ steps of sidewalk
construction:
1. Forms, before pouring concrete
2. During pouring of concrete
5. Co~r~pleted sidewalk after removal of forms.
(q) Expansion joints in curb and gutter or sidewalk, of
a type approved by the City ~ngineer, shall be located at inter-
vals of not ma~e than fifty feet, at the beginnings and ends of
all curb~ transitions and at all drive~aI~s or walks abutting on
the sidewalk.
(r) Service connoctions for all underground utilities
shall be cona~.ruCted to propertz~ lines or curb lines so that no
excavation of completed paved surfaces will be necessary.

(d) After compietio.~ of improvements and prior to final
inspection and approval of improvements, the Subdivider shall
furnish complete plans of im'orovements "as built"

cha~nges and variations from approved plans, including the locations
of monuments and the locations and elevations to 0kiah City Datum
of all bench marks. Said plans shall be on linen tracing cloth.
